I am using phillips DVD+R's. I use the DVD Shrink w/ Nero programs to copy and burn. This is the first time I am using DVD+R cds. All my other copies have been with DVD-R's. I can't find verbatim's anywhere so I got the phillips cd's. Is there a trick to burning with DVD+R because the movie had a ton of frags in it within the first 2 minutes. Thanks.
Often, Philips DVD media is CMC (you would have to check the disk coding for the manufacturer ID with the likes of DVDInfo Pro) or look at the Nero log (if you have one). If it is CMC, it should only be burned at 4x max and ideally, not at all. The +R part is not likely relevant.
A large corporation which manufactures a large portion of the DVD media that you find under many different wrappers. The quality of the product has been questioned many times in the Afterdawn forums. http://www.cmcdisc.com/index.htm Left side of screen is the brand name, centre screen is the media code. http://www.videohelp.com/dvdmedia?d...rder=Name&hits=50&search=Search+or+List+Media
