My nero software all of a sudden wont recognise my D drive as the source for cd burning. It lists my E drive in both source and destination fields. Has anyone encountered this problem and have the solution?

    Hi.

    Couple of questions.

Are you sure that your system has your drive you want designated as the D: drive?

If so, can you not change the source and destination drive letters to what you what?

I'm nowhere near an expert on this, but what I'd do 1st is post&go through forums like this one & www.cdfreaks.com (as toofake did 8])-as also mentioned regularly on this topic, the quality of your media&drives condition/drivers play a part-also virtua drives can cause probs(Daemontools,VirtualCloneDrive, etc.check for resident effects or extra drives in My Computer etc drive list) also nero, like most software, does'nt like to share:get rid of other burning software unless its specifically cool with nero. Also, there's an option(thru the drive options) to allow "drag&drop" burning which was discussed elsewhere which can effect burning-also,the iso/udf/mixed iso-udf option is still an area I don't get yet -hope this helps!(@least until a guru weighs in!)

Is this grammar ref. for my benefit or original poster, because I know you can't be implying there's something wrong with my grammar,so unlike you,I'm being clear, and giving you the rare(VERY rare) benefit of the doubt.

@locutis77, I agree with you, the reference was completely uncalled for, it is of NO HELP to fix your problem...IMO..a "cheap" shot.

Seeing as the first line says "Originally posted by locutis77" I would assume anyone, whose first language is English would clearly know who it is referring to.

Correct, I'm not implying, I'm stating a fact. I'm implying that you are either too lazy or ignorant to take the time to construct something that even vaguely resembles a coherent paragraph.

@MysticE , I believe there is NO need to be rude, it is our job (if you call it that) to help members with their problems NOT put them down because of their "grammar"

I have sent an offensive Report to the mods for their attention.

@sskarbak, I think you will find that the majority of members here at AD are helpful, sorry you struck a [bold]RUDE ONE[/bold]

Wow!I thought that grammar thing was uncalled for (thank you,Gwen!) glad someone gives a damn.Almost
all the posts and threads I've read here have been helpful and focussed on the resolution of the problem(s),not grandstanding real or assumed knowledge.FEI(=for everyones information.Did I just invent that?nah.) one of my occupations for the past 7 years has been as an ESL teacher.
