problem burning dvd using nero startsmart 6

hi i am using nero startsmart 6 and i am trying to make a copy of my own dvd's i have made one successfully all the others say reading disc failed. please help i am new to all this

 

are the discs original? if so they will need ripping to hd first...

thanks for answering, yes the disc are original . how to i rip them do i need another program to do this, the message that comes up is reading disc failed,.

 

get the trial of ANYDVD <--- this runs in the background

and use dvd shrink to rip to hard drive... <-- free app
