I bought sony's DRU 810A, initially it was working fine, I wrote about 8-9 DVDs with it. But then it started giving me problems. I can still read the DVDs and read and write CDs. But I cant burn DVDs. It gives error after lead in startd and 1%(I dont exactly know what it means)

I connected my drive to my friends computer and burnt a DVD it worked just fine, i wrote some video files.

I even reinstalled the system and tried to burn DVD but could not do it. I have windows XP SP2 and i use nero to burn discs.
I would be greatfull if you can help me.
Following is my log file. Please ask me if any other information is needed.

A few versions behind, I would update to this bug free version
    http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/Nero-6.6.0.18_no_yt.exe

Update to 1.0e from here http://www.sonyisstorage.com/bv_downloads/cpce/dvd/810A_1.0e.exe

Your burner doesn't like your discs, hopefully the firmware update should fix that..apart from the updates cant see too much else, if I've missed anything someone will pick it up, Cheers.
