So I have been using dvd shrink and dvd decrypter for some time now and have had no problems for the most part but now when it comes to burn a dvd with dvd decrypter it starts and then gives me an I/O error message. The error message reads... I/O Error! Device: [1:0:0]Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-110D 1.17 (D (ATA) ScsiStatus:0x02 Interpretation: Check Condition CDB: 2A 00 00 00 03 00 00 00 20 00 Interpretation: Write(10)-Sectors768-799 Sense Area: 70 00 05 00 00 00 00 0E 00 00 00 00 21 02 00 00 00 00 00 82 00 00 Interpretation: Invalid Address For Write I keep getting these errors and I have no idea what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi dfekt9 Your drive can use a firmware update. The latest is 1.39. This will help your drive with the read/write strategies of media. Here's a link: http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=2140 This is usually telling your drive doesn't like the disc. A firmware update may help this. What brand of media are you using?
I have been using Philips DVD-R's. I have used alot of them in the past and have had no problems. I just downloaded the update and will see if that takes care of the problem. Thanks
