Please help.. I recently installed a wireless router to my PC, so my son could plaY his Xbox 360 live, he has the xbox wifi connection, but we are having probs getting it to work. The router works fine because we have alaptop that connects to the internet with no probs. I have checked the settings on the xbox which is asking for IP addresses etc, so we have typrd in the address from my PC but it is saying IP address failed. I must be doing something wrong but cant figure it out... Please help my son is desperate to get online with Halo, gears of war etc...
If it is a secure network then you will have to type in the password for the network. if it is possible try connecting it through a hard line to the router to see if it works that way, to rule out any problems with your wireless adapter for your 360. I had one for my 360 and had a lot of problems with it and just went back to the hard line.
