I have a movie with a .divx extension (movie.divx) that I need to convert to .avi or something that I can use to ultimately create a DVD. I've searched for 2 days and found DIKO which assumes when you say divx, you're referring to avi (which obviously makes sense.) Then I found 'Open converter' which errors out when I hit convert. I'm running Vista. Nevermind. I found the solution. I figured since divx is just an encoded avi, I renamed the extension to .avi. Encoded it via Santa and it works great. Figured I'd post this thread anyway in case anyone else was wondering.
