Problem cutting file in Nero 7

    Here's the deal:

    I have a movie that has a size of 1.34 GB and length of 2 hours and 2 minutes and I want to cut out a scene out of it that is about 28 minutes long. Well I tried to cut it out and when I was done cutting it out of the movie, the file itself has a size of 1.02 GB. I want to ask if anyone here can help me cut it out and reduce the size as well. Thanks in advance.

    Well, you cut about 24% out and the file size reduced by 24%. Since the cut worked, what is it exactly you want to do now. Are you trying to put this on a CD and you need to get the total size smaller?

    Are you getting your file size from the bar graph on the bottom of NeroVision or the actual size of the file?

    I would like to be able to reduce the size of the cut so that I can fit it on a CD.

    Saltgrass to answer your question, I just right clicked on the file and clicked on properties and it gave me the total size of 1.02 GB
