HI, i'm pretty new to everything here, i tried the guides and the other forums and didnt get much of a clue there....so i decided to start a thread. i'm trying to get this video: mms://a281.v7807b.c7807.e.vm.akamaistream.net/7/281/7807/40b3330d/prisa.download.akamai.com/7807/2004/video/the_corrs/concierto/mini_concierto_corrs.wmv but it wont work for some reason...if you can help, please let me know....any help will be greatly apperciated!
I didn't have any trouble getting StreamBox VCR working with this stream. You just need to change the Protocol to MMS(HTTP). There are new recorders that work better on Windows Media streams. Some will connect in more cases without changing the protocol. Some record faster using multi-thread downloading. Some will index the downloaded stream for seeking. Some don't have video or audio problems that StreamBox VCR sometimes has. Information about these new recorder programs and StreamBox VCR can be found at the Forum below.
