Problem FTPing (xbox softmod)

    ive used programs such as FLASHXP etc... used the ip my xbox has shown, installed evox. used port 21, username xbox, password xbox, and it keeps telling me connection failed.. any suggestions what might be wrong?

    my xbox live is now also currently not working, so i cant ask my friends via xbl.. how can i reset my xbox?

    As for the FTPing:
    Are you using a router or are you connecting your xbox direct to your PC?
