so i download ed the update folder put the 371.pbp file in it and when i ran it on the xmb,it came to a black screen and varified something then it said that something is wrong and to correct it press X,so i did then after correcting, it again asked for pressing X,and after doing so it went blank for a few seconds then suddenly the xmb came asking for confirmation on updating to 3.71 (mot 3.71 m33)i got afraid that it would update to official firmware and declined it. so what am i doing wrong?? oh and the readme file with the update folder said to change the kernel to 3.xx and i did that also.
3.71m33 looks like the official 3.71 upgrade.go on youtube and look up 3.71m33 installation.it's ok, i crapped myself when i started it, but i took the risk and got 3.71m33.so do it.
its bricked!!! oh my god.its not even going to the recovery.the green light comes but nothing at all on the screen. oh wat do i do???
You need to unbrick using pandoras battery, see the thread with bold writing at the top of this forum
what did you do?did you close your psp when it says start?i've seen a few people doing this and bricked.or did it just fail on you when upgrading?
the psp asked me if i want to update to 3.71 (it said nothing about m33 and it asked me this at the xmb)i canceled and the psp was functioning normally until i powered off and when i star the psp its nothing,only the green light works
so its bricked already u will need a pandora's battery just like chwoolgar said to be able to unbrick it.. go to dark-alex.org to get the unbricker and click this for the guide creating pandora
