I figured it was the Memorex DVD's; but I made a successful backup copy for an original XBOX game thats why I second guessed the media. Thank you PRO! :)

The answer is inverse stack, not a particular brand or "shite" media. This question also comes up several times a week, and the correct answer is always the same: if your DL drive cannot handle inverse stack DL discs (8X discs manufactured by Ritek, Ricoh, or CMC) either check for a firmware update or switch to 2P 8X DL discs from Verbatim that will cost more because of the more expensive production method.

OK FOR ANYBODY out there if you get the same ERROR MESSAGE that I get, this means your DVD BURNER DOES NOT BURN Dual Layer DVD's 8.5 gb
You need to buy a DVD burner that has the capabilities to read and burn DVD+R dl DVD's

Had the Make and Model of the Burner been given, I bet Someone would have Said You Needed a DL Burner.

The More Info You Give the Easier It is to Give a correct Answer.
