    I've been making VCDs forever. It has never failed to make one. I've notice when I make VCDs when ever you add a video to the burning list it adds files to the folders to make the CD readible. I guess making a DVD is alot different, because I try to do the same thing. But the "Audio" and "Video_TS" folders are still empty, and I always get a unsuccessful burn. Why isnt it just as easy to make a DVD than a VCD? Please help.

    Thanks in Advance

    Why would you want to make VCD when you can easily make DVD? Anyways, let's have the very last section from your Nero log. To get the last section from your log, go here: C:\Program Files\Ahead\Nero\NeroHistory -- now REMEMBER to EDIT out your Nero serial before you're going to post back here.

    Below is an example from a successful burned log of mine for reference:

    What other programs do you have besides Nero to make you backups?

    Nero is the only one. I'm just trying to figure out why. VCDs automatically add the files needed to be a playable disc, and DVDs need to be manually put in the folders. The files I am trying to burn are like for example: AVI, WMV, etc. (basically like VCDs)

    @DarienC

    First, you'll need to update your Nero 6 to the latest of Nero 6.6.0.18. For more info on how to convert/transcode any of your AVI, MP4, MPEG, MOV, WMV, etc. into DVD, follow this simple/basic guide here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/272946

    **NOTE: in prior to run your AVI or MPEG project into DVD, I recommend you run a "scan disc/clean up your hard drive" and "defrag your hard drive", don't multi-task, free up more memory ram if you can, close/shutdown any unuse programs/applications, disconnected from the net, etc., then proceed with your project.

    Good luck!!

    In this case, honestly, I don't know. If you're doing everything right, then 32GB should be fine.

    What movie or files are you trying to burn by chance?
