    hi ,

i have encountered a problem , i have a lite on dvd burner , lh 20a1p a 20 x dvd/ cd burner . i have had it about 2 months and burned maybe 10 dvd's with no problem , i bought a pack of verbatim 8 x vinyl cd-r that looks like little records , i got a good deal on a 25 pack so i thought what the heck . i burned about 3 of these and the problem is that i burned them using nero 6 .6.0.18 and it said burned completed succesfully , and the back of the disc looks like it has been burned but i am unable to play these in anything . they won't play in the computer , or my home stereo or truck . do you think it is the disc , or the burner acting up . thanks

Sounds like the disc, then again maybe a firmware update prob in that the burner is just not optimally burning the discs.

what was your project exactly? mp3 to cda? vcd video?

could be down to file setup on the discs. yes burned ok, but the wrong format for your needs?

i took my christmas cd's and made a cd-r mix of my favorite songs , i made it thru nero 6 in make a audio cd . it went thru the setup and gave the burning succesfull sign , i made 3 copies and none played , i am going to try another cd-r and see what happens , i was wondering if the verbatim cd-r 8x were maybe to old or bad cd-r and the 20 x burner was having trouble with them , the cd-r's seem a shade heavy compared to a regular cd-r . thanks
