Just started backing up dvds this past month. Everything has been working fine until now. I have been using: DVD Fab Decrypter 2.9.7.0 DVD Rebuilder V 0.96free CCE Basic 2.70.1.9 Nero Burning ROM 7.0.1.4 I am trying to backup Fantastic Four. When I tried to burn it, I got this message: There is not enough space to burn this compilation onto this disc. Please insert another disc that provides more space... Data to be written: 4521 MB Space available: 4482 I haven't received a message like this before after backing up about 20 movies already. Is there a problem with my setup, b/c if there is, I don't know how to fix it? Also, is it worth it to get DVD RB Pro, and how do I go about getting it? Thanx, Still a newbie JR
this sounds as if it's a ripping problem sometimes w/ fabdecrypter you will get read error's and not know it! try dvd decrypter w/ the psl2file wizard and reprocess! you may be able to use other compression methods like shrink because it's so small of a compression but I would suggest re-ripping because there is probably mis-encoded fields that will take away from the bitrate of the movie!
Funny I have misplaced an original just when I needed it b4 having kids and there friends in & out does that! this is why I suggested the shrink fix as it will not harm the file to any extreme amount! but if you get the chance the actual fix would be the optimal way to go! L8
