Problem playing Movie in PSP

    Hi..I have juz encoded a movie using PSPVideo9 (Filename: M4V10007.MP4) But however, when i loaded the movie into my psp it shows that the movie is of an incompatible format.

    Anyone knows what might be the problem? Thanx in advance!

    You need to have a thumbnail aswell, eg M4V10007.THM
    You need to get this somewhere, you cant just make it.
    Try downloading a vid from SONY and use the .thm file that comes with that vid an rename it to M4V1007.THM
    Dont hesitate to ask for more help :)

    PSPvideo9 automatically creates a THM file for me and i have transfered both the movie and the thumbnail into my mem stick but the problem still persists

    Maybe its a corrupt file?

    also your MP_root needs to be MP_ROOT

    Yeah but it takes a long time, its easier to download another vid and use the one that comes with it

    It takes two seconds to make ur own thumbnail, why download some other thumb when u can customize and make ur own...

    its as simple as

    get pick
    resize
    save as
    change extention to .THM

    rocket science for poodles

    hmm...tired creating a THM file for the movie..still the same problem..using 3GPP convertor and it works...although the quality seems to be lower than pspvideo9 when played using quicktime

    It all depends on ur bitrate, when using PSPvideo9 i would suggest 384kbps (AVC if ur firmware is 2.00 or higher) and two pass encoding.
