Problem Playing Video

    Someone Please help!

    Last week for no reason my PC stopped playing ALL video files and DVDs, although I do have sound. I have updated the video card driver and done a system restore to an earlier date when I know that video worked, but this does not help. Can someone please help?

    Is this a codec issue or a hardware issue? :)

    Sorry, but I don not know, the only codecs I had installed were Xvid and Divx, I could play any file I wanted with these and have done so for 2 years, then for no apparent reason everything stopped playing video and only gives me sound. Please help.
