problem playing with Nero burning rom 6.6.0.8

I am using the above to burn an simple audio cd on new Memorex CD-RW 700mb media. The burn process goes no problems, I am using all default settings. The media will play on my computers no problems, but will not play whatsoeve on any other CD Player I have in the house or car. It seems now to want to "get up to speed" and the cd just stops.

What am I doing wrong and can I cure this ?

 

The solution was to go and buy CDR disks instead and use them .. works fine .. first time

 

I think you will find that a number of stereos will not play CD-RW disks. You were correct in using a CD-R
