Hi. I am ripping all my DVD's to store on my Media Server, which I play through my PS3. Anyway, I am using DVDDecrypter to Rip the DVD in IFO mode. Then I use AutoGK to convert to AVI. I am using the AutoGK default settings, and converting to the max DVD size (2GB). (When I was converting to 1/4 DVD size, everything played fine). The strange thing is, the PS3 plays the movies perfectly. Although the movies length always appears as 9:59 instead of showing the proper title length. My Windows XP refuses to play the movie, even though I have all the correct codecs. Even GSpot says the codecs are installed, but says DirectShow reports an error. Can anyone check the details below and see where my problem is? Thank you. Well, here are my video details: File name: (1/1) War of the Worlds [2005].avi File size: 2,033.79 MB File duration: 1 h 51 min 7.20 s Quality of video: 117322 eff.bits per frame 3x4 Video Stream: XviD MPEG-4 codec 'XVID' <0x44495658>, 624x336, 12 bit, 166680 frm, 25.0000 frm/s, 2100.521 kbit/s Audio Stream: Dolby AC3 / FAST Multimedia AG DVM <0x2000>, 48000 Hz, 448.000 kbit/s, 6 Channels Codec: XviD MPEG-4 codec 'XVID' <0x44495658> Kilobits per second: 2100.521 Frames per second: 25.0000 Frame size: 624x336 pixels Aspect ratio: 1.86 Frame proportion: 13x24 Effective bits per pixel: 0.401 Effective bits per frame 3x4: 117322 Video compression: 96.660% Power of video compression: 29.9:1 GSpot Reports this: "PARTIAL RENDER FAILURE" Note: 136 bytes unneeded bytes at end of file OpenDML (AVI v2.0) Interleave: 96 ms (2.4 v.frames), preload=96 Audio frames: Split across interleaves Video: 1.63 GB (82.23%) Audio: 356 MB (17.51%) AVI Overhead: 5.41 MB (0.27%) ------ MediaSubType_AVI Avi MEDIATYPE_Stream {e436eb83-524f-11ce-9f53-0020af0ba770} MEDIASUBTYPE_Avi {e436eb88-524f-11ce-9f53-0020af0ba770} AVI SPLITTER - - Type DSH - - Function Splitter DSH 4CC Avi DSH Friendly Name AVI Splitter DSH DirectShow CLSID CLSID_AviSplitter {1B544C20-FD0B-11CE-8C63-00AA0044B51E} REG Driver File C:\WINDOWS\system32\quartz.dll REG Merit 0x00600000 Base MEDIATYPE_Audio {73647561-0000-0010-8000-00aa00389b71} WMMEDIASUBTYPE_Base {00000000-0000-0010-8000-00aa00389b71} AUDIO DECODER - - Type DSH - - Function Decoder DSH 4CC FmtTag: 0x0055 DSH Friendly Name ffdshow Audio Decoder DSH DirectShow CLSID {0F40E1E5-4F79-4988-B1A9-CC98794E6B55} FIL File Description DirectShow and VFW video and audio decoding/encoding/processing filter FIL File Version 1.0.5.1925 FIL Internal Name ffdshow FIL Legal Copyright Copyright © 2002-2005 Milan Èutka FIL Original Filename ffdshow.ax FIL Product Name ffdshow FIL Product Version 1.0.5.1925 FIL Legal Trademarks GNU GPL REG Driver File C:\Program Files\ffdshow\ffdshow.ax REG Merit 0x3fffffff MediaSubType_PCM PCM MEDIATYPE_Audio {73647561-0000-0010-8000-00aa00389b71} MEDIASUBTYPE_PCM {00000001-0000-0010-8000-00aa00389b71} DirectSound Device - - Type REND - - Function Renderer DSH 4CC PCM DSH Friendly Name Default DirectSound Device DSH DirectShow CLSID CLSID_DSoundRender {79376820-07D0-11CF-A24D-0020AFD79767} REG Driver File C:\WINDOWS\system32\quartz.dll REG Merit 0x00800000
