I used SID3.0 and mechassualt and then used a crossover cable and Im all connected to the xbox through my computer and I'm using Flashfxp to transfer Dvd2xbox to my "e:/apps/" When I reboot the xbox,I go to the evolution x dashboard and go to "Launch applications" and nothing at all is in there.
check to see that the app is extracted to a folder arcetect....also if your app is in a folder within a folder your dash will not be able to see the default.xbe file. So when you goto your apps folder in your e or f drive. There should be s folder named dvd2xbox (or something like it) and inside there will be some files and a feww folders. Including a file named default.xbe. If this is not the case, then that is your problem...and it's easy to fix.
So basically what your saying when I go to e: then I click the apps folder there should be nothing in it besides dvd2xbox
Just make sure that your copy of dvd2xbox is in a single folder. There might be a few folders inside this folder and also a file called default.xbe. Then just ftp this to your E or F drive in the apps folder. Reboot your xbox and it shouold show up.
Alright im pretty sure I dont have the default.xbe file anywhere in the dvd2xbox folder, where do i get this?
Where did you get dvd2xbox? The .xbe is the executable file for the xbox. It SHOULD have been in the download. Did you try what punqewe suggested? Go to file explorer, and go to e: then apps then into your dvd2xbox folder, and thats where your files should be. If there is another dvd2xbox folder there, then you need to take the files out of the second folder and put them in the first dvd2xbox folder. The .xbe file should be there. Daniel GT: danielmid
I've tried everything you guys have suggested.. I now have my default.xbe (Had to download that seperate) I put all the folders that was in the 2nd dvd2xbox folder in the first one and I now see it under launch applications, I click that folder and it doesnt load up or anything. Is Dvd2xbox really this F****** complicated?!!!!!!!
