I had AnyDVD ver. 5.5.2.1 and tried to update to the new 5.5.3.1. After almost wearing out my computer on re-boots, I have finally ended up with v 5.4.3.1. I got the message that the file to delete DVD43 could not be found. I kept trying to "ignore" that,but after rebooting,keep getting the same "install now" message, and am on a helpless cycle. I have tried to go into the windows uninstall, but get a message there that the dvd43 has a file that is not compatible. The anydvd board stated that it would delete the dvd43 files automatically. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for your help
i too had probs with anydvd.i have ver 5.2.1.1 and tried to update to 5.5.2.1. but all it did was give me 21 day trial,which then said had expired!!!i had to uninstall new trial then reboot,then reinstall my 5.2.however it wouldnt copy certain dvd's such as kung fu hustle.i uninstalled anydvd and now use dvd43,it copied the film striaght away and lets me update without any probs. sorry anydvd fans but i think it's pants now.dvd43 forever
