Hi Nizamuk, Can you tell us exactly what the error message says and perhaps post a copy of the log file ? Jimmy
Go to: C:\Programfiles\Nero\Core and open the text document called Nero History Scroll right to the bottom, then scroll up until you reach: ====== *** Nero Burning ROM, History File *** ====== Copy everything underneath this and paste it into the thread, dont forget to delete your serial number at the top of the text ! Jimmy

Hi nizamuk, I'll take a look at your log. Let's see what's hiding in there: Nero 7 is up to 7.0.1.4b http://www.nero.com/nero7/enu/nero7-demo.php and you should update. If your system is a fujitsu, then it looks like firmware is up to 2.88 http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1904 the other one needs updating also Looks like it is up to 0N21 for that one http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1871 Looks like you have a DMA off on this drive. How to fix that? http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/260038 this one looks like a firmware out of date might have caused that one. I couldn't see what media you were using, but use good media, Verbatims, Taiyo Yuden hiding in Sony, Fuji, Maxell, made in japan. Also, just to check, run nero info tools and check your system ASPI. It should come up like this: Also here is what AD says about ASPI layers and how to install them: http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/aspisetup.cfm Give those things a try, and post another log if you still don't get a good burn after doing the updates.
Hi Thankyou very much for your help i fixed it with your help, update firmware on my NEC ,but the link you send to me did not work to update the firmware on my LG DVD ROM drive. So can you please send me some other links to update the firmware on it.Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Rgds Nizam
Maxburn I don't know if I should be on this thread but my NERO aspi is ok but my system ASPI is missing so it says three files I go into adapt tec download and install and my system shows but it but NERO doen't. Any ideas Thanks ChrisC.
From log "Sense Key: 0x03 (KEY_MEDIUM_ERROR)" Looks like it does not like the media you are using, as Max said, use good media
