Hi.. I seem to have problem everytime I try to read a dvd that i've burn on my stupid dvd player lol. If i simply copy a dvd that i rent, it's working perfectly, but when i convert an AVI file to an ISO file and then, burn it it's not working properly. I hear the sound of the movie perfectly on my tv but the image is jumping every second making the dvd unwatchable.

Anyone can help me with that?

What kind of AVI, Xvid, Dvix? What program are you using for the AVI conversion?

I don't think Macrovision applies here.

    MysticE,
You are probably correct but I was trying to cover all of the problems as it probably is in the conversion.

    spazys,
After the conversion can you play the DVD on the computer and does it play properly or is it jumping etc.

on the computer it's playing properly. It's only on my dvd player connected to the TV. And to convert, i'm using Avi2Dvd ... I don't think it's the better one, i'm gonna try to see if i can find an other. Oh.. and with that program, when i first converted my movie, the character (that are real person in the movie) was blue after conversion :| So i honestly think the program is the problem. Some suggestion about a program that would convert avi to iso and is free???

Below is another free converter you can try but this is the freeware version. Another one is VSO ConvertXtoDVD v2.0.17 but it cost $$

If the avi plays fine on the computer then the conversion is where the problem is.

The method I use is to convert avi to Mpeg-2 DVD compliant files and then to iso. You can use Imgburn to convert the avi files after conversion to iso and then burn it

    VSO DivXtoDVD v0.5.2b (Freeware)
