I downloaded itunes 6.0.4 and after about 1 minute, it crashes and goes streight to this error report thing. is there anyway i can get it to stop doing this or downgrade itunes?(but it still needs to support video) thank u waymon
Hmmmm...I haven't heard of any problems for 6.0.4 yet, but it is definately possible that there is some. Try uninstalling then reinstalling iTunes and see if that fixes it. ;-)
Yeah, any time. That's what we're here for. Not sure what you can do to fix the problem other than downgrading to 6.0.3. Hope you figure it out, though.
Hi Waymon3x6 My partners sister had a similar problem when you installed itunes it came up with an error message. You might have to completely remove itunes please go onto this website http://discussions.apple.com/forum.jspa?forumID=792 It will tell you how to completely remove everything. In the end we did this and used the apple standalone application,if you download this save on your desktop and open from there. Good Luck hopefully this might shed some light on your problem Ixtreme
if i unistall my itunes, will i lose my music too? and to jazo, do u kno a web site where i can downgrade my itunes to 6.0.3? And do u think apple will come out with a new version before april 10? If they do, and i download it, do u think the problem will be fixed? Thanks for the help
No, you won't. Here ye are http://www.filehippo.com/download_itunes/?784 Not necessarily, but if it is a common occurrence and Apple are aware of it, then they may rememdy the issue. You should wait and see what other people find when they make their upgrade. If there are no major problems, then thats when you should upgrade. ;-)
ok, nevermind, i found out how to uninstall it... but after i installed the 6.0.3 version, it runs into the same error message report thing that says "itunes has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." And thats the same thing that happened right after i downloaded the newer version (6.0.4) and i thought that the newer version was the one that had the problem but after i send the error message to Microsoft and click on the link, it says "error caused by Quicktime player". I think that's the major problem now... Can u help me fix this too? Thanks
