Strange problem is I am capturing from VHS to DVD using a Dell 4500 Desktop with 2 Ghz speed and 768 Ram. Device is Dazzle 150b Usb 2.0 with Pinnacle quickstart software 9.4.3 I captured after disconnecting internet, firewall and antivirus as well as a complete HD defrag with Diskeeper 8. Resulting MPG file plays fine throughout in Mediaplayer, Nero Showtime and Windvd but audio goes out of sync when I author DVD using TMPGenc Disc Author. Any advice appreciated, Lee
I've had similar problems with Sonic's MyDVD. Once the disc burns and I try to play it, the audio falls out of sync toward the end of the disc. What format is your hard drive: NTFS or FAT32? Mine is FAT32 and I've heard that may be the cause....
I just tried to render using the Pinnacle Quickstart 9 instead of TDA prog and it kept the sync inline, i'm wondering if the capture software makes the result MPG2 file proprietory to use that software to render properly..Hmmmm I am stuck using the Pinnacle Quickstart as I have a Dazzle 150b USB capture device and only that software detects the device drivers....Hmmm
Using Pinnacle Studio 9 (version 9.3, I believe - afraid to download any patches as I don't want any more "new" problems). I have the audio/video sync problem after capturing from analog VHS tape with Dazzle 80. I am using a single hard drive (30 gig - and about half is free). Does anyone have any suggestions?
I had the same prob with DVC 80 which is why I upgraded to DVC 150 - everytime I used it, I had to demux the file and alter the audio file to even out the sync.
