Hi, Folks: I have a couple of questions in regard to an AVI file I downloaded... 1) The file will not allow me to skip ahead (fast forward) during playback. You have to watch it from the beginning or not at all. If you stop playback you have to start it from the beginning all over again. Now, I know there is a program/programs out there that will allow you to convert AVI files so this can be allowed but I don't remember what the program(s) are called. Can anyone name one or more? 2) When I play the file in DivX Player it says the file is 1 hour and 32 minutes in length. However it only plays about 30 minutes of the file and then stops. I've never had a video file do this before. Does anyone know why this is happening? Is the file corrupted? Thanks, - Bodrey
you can try to use VirtualDubMod to scan the stream for errors http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/virtualdubmod/VirtualDubMod_1_5_10_1_All_inclusive.zip?download maybe the file has a VBR mp3 as audio. If it does, after a while that may become out of sync with the video. I think VirtualDubMod can fix that too. Thats all i can remember for now
