Problem with backup game loading

I've followed the procedure to get the files from my xbox by a FTP connection. Then i made the files into an iso and burnt the image with nero. I run into a problem with the game loading. My xbox recognizes the game but on the way to the main menu where it shows who made the game, my xbox freezes. Does anyone know what my problem could be?

 

Did it burn correctly with nero?

 

It burns smoothly. I run it at 4x. Could there be settings in my xbox that i need to change?

 

burn it again and burn at half the max speed (if its a 16x disc burn it at 8x) and try again, burning to slow can cause errors as well

 

still no luck, any other ideas?

 

Does it matter what brand i use to record my dvds? I've been using staples dvd+r. If this is the problem, could somebody recommend a better disc.
