Hello everyone, I just recently modded my cube and am having problems with my backup games. I am using a qoob pro chip with v1,3c bios and i can still play original games. I stream the disc image to my computer using psul v1.1 and ISO ripping server. I managed to get the image of phantasy star online on my computer as a .gcm file. When i burn the image to a mini dvd-r by tdk my gamecube gets a disk read error. Ive burned it with nero 6, imgburn, and ive renamed it to .iso and burned it again with nero. the image size is 1.35Gb. Has anyone made a successful copy of phantasy star online? Should i use a different method of ripping games? Am i doing something wrong with the modchip?

    Heh, no replies, what luck.

Anyway, when i put the discs in my gamecube, i get the qoob telling me that its loading dvd, then it sits on ... for awhile, then it says unable to read disc.

while looking through the message boards i saw that the image has to be 1.35 gb to work. When i go into the properties it says my image is 1.35gb, but underneath the icon it says 1.45 gb. does anyone know if i have a bad image?

I am using ISO rip server to rip the gamecube games. Is this the best way to do it? Does Gcos work better?

I successfully streamed the image to my gamecube so the iso is not the problem. The problem must be my media or my burner.

Has anyone had any luck with a pioneer dvd burner, and if so, what media did you use.

Someone Please Respond, Im so close to getting this working.

Get better media such as Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden, or Ritek.

Also, what burner do you have? If it's a good burner, using a lens cleaner disc will help improve burn success as well.
