I read the thread on burning. however it doesnt answer my question. 1. when I TRY to burn the cue file with nero it ONLY allows you to select CD as the media to burn on. can you burn cue files on a dvd-r for playback on a stand alone dvd player? if so, how do you do it?
the cue file is the burning instruction if it specifies a cd then a cd is required the file you have is probablly a vcd or svcd which your dvd player will quite possibly play so try it on a cd if you need to make a dvd then you wikk have to extract the mpeg from the movie with something like vcd gear and reencode the file to a dvd
