Hi all, I am not sure whether this is the right forum to post this question, but I couldn't think of a better place... I had purchased an LG GSA-4163B DVD writer about 4 months ago. I installed the Nero 6 bundled software that came with it. Using Nero Express, I burned a variety of media including DVD+R, DVD-R and DVD-RW without any problems. Since the last 3 months, I only used the writer to burn CDs. I recently installed Nero 6.6.0.1 (full version), and when I tried to burn a data DVD, I got the error : Could not perform end of Disc-at-once. I tried burning different media, including good quality MoserBaer and Imation DVD-Rs, but I still kept getting the error, and the DVDs became useless. I also tried simulating before burning - the simulation was successful, but the write gave the same error. The funny part is that the writer still burns CDs without any problem. Thinking that there might be a problem with Nero 6.6.0.1 that I installed, I rolled back the system using Norton Ghost to 4 months ago. Even then, Nero Express (the old one) failed to burn any DVDs. Can this be a problem with the writer or am I missing something here? PLEASE HELP 'cos the problem is bugging the hell out of me! - i wouldn't call either of those good quality i'm afraid - usually i'd say that's not too old, but it doesn't look like your drive is correctly recognised - firmware is out of date, A105 is here - http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1973 - not what i'd call good quality myself - don't know why your drive's trying to booktype a -R disc, you can only booktype (otherwise known as bitsetting) +R discs - splat! - you've got Nero's InCD (packet writing software) installed. Uninstall Nero, uninstall completely via Nero's Clean Tools - " http://www.nero.com/en/Clean_Tools.html ", install 6.6.0.16 from here - http://www.nero.com/en/nero-up.php but DO NOT install InCD
