    All,

I just purchased an ADVC-100 to convert analog video (Hi-8 source) to DV, then to burn to DVD. I have done so successfully.

The problem: When using Pinnacle Studio 8, I can no longer hear any video when in the conversion/import mode. With my previous capture device, I was able to monitor not just the video coming into the computer, but the audio.

To confuse things further, the capture and subsequent DVDs are produced with good audio. I don't get it.

Any advice? I've tried the obvious (making sure volumes weren't muted, etc.)

    Cheers,
    Bob

Moved means you posted a question about capturing video in a DVD forum and I moved it to the Analog Capture forum where it belongs. Besides keeping the boards neat and orderly (or as close as we can get) it puts your question somewhere people who are likely to know the answer will be more likely to see it.
