problem with chrome

    I have been using chrome for over a year, it working fine until about a week ago, when I tried open a link in bookmark, it automatically opened a new tab, but when i clicked the new tab, it automatically closed the new tab. I have reinstalled chrome but it didn't solve the problem. Can someone help me? My OS is W.7

    when you uninstall it you also have to make sure to uninstall your personal google settings.
