Problem with copied DVD

    I borrowed a friends copied DVD and it plays great on my home TV/DVD player. When I try to copy it or just view the files on the DVD it says that there is no disc in the drive. Tried opening it with DVD shrink and nero and it does not find it. My friend said he burned it with shrink using the reauthor mode and nero. Why does it not register in my DVD burner drive????

    it may be memorex but what is the id code inside the disc? use dvd indentifier to tell us...

    also do you have the latest firmware in your drive?

    Yes, firmware is up to date. I never had a problem reading any disk before till now. I'll try the DVD identifier..
