I am having a problem with AVI2DVD, DVD Flick, & AVS2DVD. I am able to encode movies that are already in AC3 audio but when I have any that are in DTS audio, the three above programs error. Do I need to download some codec or is there a way to converts these dts streams to ac3 and then convert?? I have ac3 filter and other codec installed. Is there a specific DTS one I need for the program to be able to convert the dts stream to ac3 ? Please help. Thanks in advance.
Assume it's an AVI with DTS. I haven't had a problem using DVD Flick on this type. You can demux the DTS from the AVI with AVI MUX GUI then convert it to AC3 with DaudioK. Then remux the new AC3 to the video. Finally, convert the AVI with DVD Flick. I have used this method and left the DTS intact so the DVD has both streams. Run AVIMUX GUI Drag AVI onto top window and highlight. 'Generate data source from file' Right click on the DTS audio and 'Extract Binary' and save the audio. Uncheck the DTS audio box. Don't close out AVIMUX yet. Run 'DaudioK' load and convert the DTS audio to AC3. Close 'DaudioK' Drag the AC3 onto the top window of AVIMUX Click Start and save the new AVI.
