Problem with DVD burned

    I have movies on my HD. I have tried everything to burned them as copies of my originals, that happened when you have kids. Anyway, am burning the DVDs with NEC 2500A, media RidataG04, DVDshrink. Everything is fine and perfect burn, but here is my prolem, when I ty to watch the movies on my dvd wich s a Sony which reads all types of formats it says CANNOT READ., Can someone help me with this?

    is your DVD player is compatible with + or - DVD R/RW.

    could be DVD media i snot work with you DVD player
