Hi I have been using clone dvd2 along with any dvd in the background, i just ran into my first problem. for the last 8 months i was working great but for the last 2 nights its taking forever to make my backups. it used to be 20 minutes to put on my hard drive and 11 minutes for the writing (all approx. times)now its 82 minutes to dl and 40 min to write. maybe a software update? thanks

ok , first off i would uninstall both programs and do a clean reinstall of the programs . making sure you have the lastest verisons of both.

make sure your machine is clean a(disc cleanup and defragging)your machine often ,at least once a week

make sure your running the latest firmware on your drives

but whats probably causing your slow transcoding and burn times is your drives have got into PIO mode where as they need to be in DMA mode you can fix that in device manager or use this guide

also your in the wrong fourm i will asked a mod to move it

Leave AnyDVD running all the time, it will prevent that from happening.

are you backing up alot of dvds that are scrathed or not in good shape? this can cause it. what brand of drive are you using to read/burn with?

    heres a article about it

    http://winhlp.com/WxDMA.htm

NO leaving anydvd running all the time will not prevent that
