I never used DVD Santa and I don't know what it doesn't support, but you could do this simple check: open the file (an AVI?) with VirtualDubMod and do Stream___Stream list.
It will show you what it is. You can even Demux and convert with something more 'edible' with an audio encoder (Save WAV, which deecompressed is, doesn't always work, because it depends by your PC's capability to decode that audio stream).
After you converted the audio.XYZ stream into an "audio.AC3" (if your PC is able to) or into an "audio.MP2" stream you could also replacini ig in the AVI, by clicking 'Disable' (old one= 'add' (the new one) , setting Video___Direct Stream Copy and doing File__Save (F7) ---> movie_new.avi .

Once you did it, if you've still troubles, post here again, writing here exactly what VirtualDubMod says on the audio stream....
