Problem with HD Loader, V9 (50001) PS2

    I just recieved and installed a maxtor 120 gig HD and HD Loader. I installed the HD and it all just fine. Inserted HD Loader, formatted the HD with no problem. Then, when I went to install a game, it gives me an install error saying "Disc inserted is not a valid Playstation 2 disc!" All the games I have tried and the loader are originals that I paid for. I have the flip top and swap magic discs as well (DVD 2.0 USA, and CD 3.2 USA) no mod chip installed. can anyone help me please

    You don't need a flip-top or Swap Magic discs to install original game discs.

    I know the flip top and S.M disc's arnt needed, I am not using them in trying to install an original game. Just wondering if any settings on the PS2 need to be changed or what needs to be done in order to get the HD Loader to work. Thanx

    just to let anyone who is reading this know...I set my PS2's read speed to fast, and everything works liek a charm now.. does anyone know of a way to get Karaoke Revolution (1&2) to work with the hard drive?
