I've tried to copy Invincible using DVDShrink, and going through RipIt4Me. With both, it goes all the way through shrinking, but it fails to record all the way through. This is the log I get:

just to let you know you are not running the most stable version of Nero 6. this is what I would do:

Before udating to 6.6.0.18 I would save the serial #, uninstall Nero, then use the cleaning tools : http://ww2.nero.com/nero6/eng/Clean_Tools.html
then do a registry clean up(free registry cleaner, CClean: http://www.ccleaner.com/download/downloadpage.aspx?1) and defrag...... then reboot!

    install package one:
    Nero 6.6.0.18

    then install package two:
    http://www.nero.com/nero6/eng/Patch_for_NVE3.html
reboot and you're good to go!

4465 is a little too close to the outer edge of the disk.... unless you are using top not media try burning no closer than 4400MB.

CMC MAG is crappy media! follow the MIJ rule (Made In Japan). look for the MIJ on the label of the box or spindle. the only exception to the MIJ rule is Verbatim.... which is top notch media.... made in Taiwan/Singapore and the only ones I will use that are not MIJs!

not recognizing your disk.... crappy media ..... that leads to this:
    12:04:45 AM #26 CDR -1135 File Writer.cpp, Line 311
    Write error

    and finally.....
this is a Roxio driver and some members say it interferes with burning DVDs. so if you're having trouble it's always good to try everything and this is how to get that driver out..... uninstall Roxio or Sonic(a Roxio sister program) then run the Roxio Zapper:
    http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Uninstallers/Roxio-Zap.shtml

I would do all these corrections ..... it will help Nero work better and get more successful burns!

first off: HAPPY HOLIDAYS to ALL!

there is nothing really special about this movie...... use the updated version of AnyDVD (6099) and it will rip it to the hard drive! Or you can use AnyDVD and Clone DVD and it will do the job! No Problemo! Or you can use RipIt4Me and that will do the job too! If you are having problems with this movie I suggest you update your programs and try again.

creaky, thank you VERY much! I did what you suggested -- updated Nero and used MIJ DVD -- and it worked exactly like every other successful backup I've done. I bought the cheap DVD's at BJ's, wasn't having any problems with them until recently, and here I ended up having the exact same problem trying to back up another DVD using the cheapos. Backed up to MIJ and no problems. Thanx for the help, u da man!
