Problem With Me, DVDshrink or Computer? (or all three)

    Nevermind.. i got a problem again..

    i dont know if its the dam dvd-r disc.. but when i burn... it completeres..

    but when i pay it back.. the disic is messed up..

    in some dvd players it doesnt even load up it says disc error

    what speed are you supposed to burn these dvds at?

    Here is your problem . You were better off on Nero 6 or 7

    I don't have a recording tab for any of my burners. I turned off Windows burning app through Administrative tools. I only use burning programs that I have installed. I can't remember the last time I had a bad burn. I keep my OS CLEAN and I mean CLEAN!.

    how do i change my ide setting.. and i dont undestand.. wtf is booktype?? and if im not supposed to have that.. then how can i change it to normal?

    its acsually. when u go to "my Computer" and right click and go to properties.. on the rw drive and go to the end tab and enable burning.. i dont know why but everytime i restart the comp.. i always gotta change it.. cuz it never stays on burn..wtf?

    oh and you keep your os clean?? GREAT.. so how can i do that too??

    Far as i know.. os stands for.. Open Season...

    im not a computer nerd.. as a matteraffact.. when you wer in highschool eating lunch.. i was one of those guys.. rapping in a cypher at school..



    so please explain it to me in my language

    The booktype was in reference to the new burner you purchased. Click on booktype to learn about it.

    Okay so what should the booktype be.. to be able to play in all diffrent kinds of dvdplayers?

    And how do you change it?

    It only works with DVD+R discs and the booktype will be DVD-ROM which will trick the standalone into thinking it's a pressed store bought DVD.

    ^ okay if i want the dvd to playback in any dvdplayer.. is that supposed to be checked or not?

    And what burning speed will the dvd be safe at?

    Yes and 8X.
    DVD Shrink will not work with Nero 8.
