I loaded the game on m3/KINGSTON 1gb mini sd/PC with 4x and everything else default, no trim, fast boot, etc.

However, the game freezes periodically. I have trouble loading games and the movement is often choppy and freezes for a second or two while moving.

I tried getting it to 'normal' instead of fast boot but it freezes before teh game loads with the bar.

anyone get this game to work properly and how?

    It's probably the miniSD card.

Should've gotten Kingston or RiDATA instead.

mr hanky might know more about it though.

Your suggestion made me just check my SD card because I know I bought a pretty decent and researched sd card. Like I guessed, it is indeed a KINGSTON mini sd and not the crappy sandisk one. Sorry about that.

A Kingston card is doing it? Guess you'll just have to wait for mr hanky, since I don't have access to an M3.

Hm it seems to work fine on mine, and I'm using the same card as you. I believe the settings I had mine on are the exact same as in the m3wiki, which is:

    Trim Rom
    Fast Boot (1XDMA)

I didn't enable soft reset. So the problem is you're using 4X while it is known to run on 1X fast boot w/ trim :)

Cool. Thanks alot, I tried it on 1x and it works great. I assumed to use 4x because there's so much cinematics in the game.

Question though, how do you know what settings you're supposed to use for each game? Is there a list somewhere that has all the settings?

    Thanks a lot.

    check out this page: http://m3wiki.com/index.php?title=M3_NDS_roms

it takes a little getting used to trying to find the title you're looking for. if you're using US games, look for a (U) at the end of the games title. For example:

    0367 - Metroid Prime Hunters (U) (WRG)

Thats the US version of metroid. You click the link and scroll down to 367, and thats where you find the tested settings. If its crossed out.. don't use it.. and if they don't mention it.. i wouldn't try it unless you want to post your results on there :)

Its really easy to find the settings if you know the rom's # though.. so if you downloaded the series (where 20 roms came in each torrent) then you should find it fairly simple
