problem with my hp m1264n with the recovery disk!!

    hello, well people i am having problem with my hp m1264n
    it all happen when i installed windows vista (before the vista installation everything was working fine) i tried it but i didnt like it.. i took it away becouse it caused me so many problems.
    the recovery partition was deleted by the vista OS. I ordered the hp recovery disk for this computer, i put them in the computer,everything was working fine untill the program (recovery) was recoverying windows xp files. 2 minutes left untill the recovery programm was almost finished when a blue screen with white letters appeared saying Kernel_Data_Inpage_Error and here are the stop errors:0x0000007a (0XE11E4ED0,0XC000000E,0XBF97AE87,0X08790860)
    Win32k.sys-Address BF8F5C88F base at BF800000,DateStamp 3B7D3698.

    PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME WITH THIS PROBLEM!!! THANKS

    Try it again and make sure you do a FULL reformat of your harddrive.

    hey i did tri it i reformat the hard drive (full reformat)
    like if the hard drive was new.

    I'm sorry but I couldn't understand what you just typed... Did you do a full reformat of the drive? and did that fix that problem?

    ooh srry yeah i did a full format of the hard drive and still it did not fixed the problem (srry for my english)

    I've heard of people having issues when they've had XP and then installed Vista on to a computer and then trying to revert back to XP. Unfortunately I've never had that problem so I'm afraid i can't really help you...

    I would try calling HP and telling them that the recovery disks they sent you are not working right and see if they will send out replacements for them... As that may also be the issue.

    Either way, good luck. Hope you reach a solution... I'm sorry I can't be of more help.

    I believe that he recommended that you contact HP.
