problem with nds fire card

    i managed to put severel games on my nintendo via my ds fire card, games played with no problems. now when i switch my nintendo on i get a white screen saying Error; Open xmenu. dat error! anyone have any ideas whats gone wrong??

    strange.
    does the error message say "OPEN XMENU.DAT ERROR"?
    if it does, then it it telling you that the xmenu is not present in the firecard.
    did you 'unzip' the xmenu using winrar after you downloaded?
    it must be unzipped before you put it in your firecard.

    Incredibly i had this problem only 2 nights ago with an N-card(which is the same card as a firecard).
    in the past, i have fixed this with a simple format, but this time it didnt work.

    i fixed mine using a more complecated method with which i used 2 N-cards.
    try the other guys solution 1st.
