Problem with Nero 5590 no vcd playback on DVD player just PC

Hi
Can anyone help i recently obtained nero ver 5590 and now any new vcds i make will only play on my pc as before they played on both .
I think it has something to do with the screen that comes up at the start of the Vcd sayiong it was created with Nero .This comes up on the dvd player but that is as far as i can get.The version of nero that i used before did not but this screen on the vcd .If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

 

I have the same problem also. It seems that when I use Nero Express to create a VCD it includes a DVD type menu that just hangs the DVD player up. You should be able to disable the VCD menu option within Nero Express or just use the Nero Burning Rom in your program menu like previous versions of Nero. I have made VCD's after disableing the menu option.

Did you use Nero Express for the vcds after you disabled the vcd menu and if so how did u do that.
