Problem with Nero CD-Speed Disc Quality Function

    I have the latest Nero CD-Speed version 4.51. My burner is an LG 5163. When I try to check Disc Quality of any of my burned DVD's the Start button is grayed out. Nero CD-Speed will not allow me to run the Disc Quality Function. Anybody have any ideas what the issue might be and how to fix this? Thanks.

    Yes, and I have the same issue with DVDInfoPro. Any LG burner owners out there ever have this problem? Any solutions?

    Is this an external burner, cause scans won't work with externals.

    Arniebear, yes it is an external burner. Wow, I didn't realize this lack of support for externals. I guess I am out of luck here. Thanks for the response.
