I upgrade my pioneer A05(fw1.30) with the firmware that allows 1x Ritek G03 media to burn at 2x. I tried them on 3 different desktop players and none of these go through the whole movie without some sort of stuttering, stopping,pixelation, ect. So know Im back to burning at 1x with no problems. Anyone else have this problem?
I tried this on my Pioneer 104 but it still burnt at 1x even though Nero said it was burning at 2x (it wasn't!). That particular firmware is not good and needless to say I changed it. With an A05 why don't you just get 4x discs - I'm using the Princo 4x even though I can only burn at 2x with them but they seem fine.
