I can't use the drive to burn blank disc. The properties show there is no free space. Can someone help me? Thanks

    I have two questions.

    1. Have you updated your firmware?
    2. What kind of media are you using?

    This is what firmware is.

    1.Firmware

Software (programs or data) that has been written onto read-only memory (ROM). Firmware is a combination of software and hardware. ROMs, PROMs and EPROMs that have data or programs recorded on them are firmware.

I used to have the exact same drive as the one you've got. I'd take borhan9's advice and try and update the firm-ware, albeit it made no difference when mine started playing up; I had to go out and buy a new burner.

The drive brand is a good brand mayb its just that model i have the 109 and 110D and they both work great so if you change the drive just buy a newer drive.
