Hello. I just bought the Qoob pro chip and installed it into the Gamecube, turned her on and got a black screen. The qoob chip lights up, the cube lights up and the fan powers but the DVD doesn't spin. I've checked all my connections with a volt meter. None are bridged, but I was checking the IC chip. I noticed that the 2 prongs to the right of the one connected to the yellow wire (not including it) set off the volt meter together. Maybe a dumb question, but is that my problem? I've examined it up and down and can't find a bridge between the two. Thanks for any help, this is driving me nuts! Any other ideas of things I could check? I can't find any stray solder, I have the revision C so the heat sink isn't touching any wires.....

I wish it were that easy. I have a revision C gamecube so the IC wires are soldered on the side of the mobo without the heat sink. I covered them with electrical tape just in case, still a black screen.
