problem with screen resolution

    my new monitor needs a resolution that is 1440*1500 but i can not change it. the min i can change is 1400 i thing there is maybe a spyware but i am not sure.
    pls help me

    So... what exactly is your problem? Could you rephrase it? Sorry... but it isn't that clear for me.

    the resolution for my screen should be 1440*900.
    and the options for me to change are only 1400*790 or 1900*900.there is nothing else between them. i tried to change it to regedit but i couldn't.what can i do

    Hi miri_s,

    Right click the desktop
    Select properties
    Settings Tab
    Advanced button
    Monitor Tab

    Uncheck - Hide modes that this monitor cannot display
    Apply and OK

    This will not give you the exact resolution that your monitor is set for but it will give you more and Higher choices..
