I had the Screwlab software installed im ny computer(it was the trial one) and I could record only 60 seconds, but it worked perfectly everytime. But then I decided to buy the one for unlimited recording, but now it dont want to even record 1 second. It says is recording and then when i try to hear the song there is no sound at all. Like if I didnt record nothing. If you still dont know what that is go here http://www.screwlab.com/ and download screwlab v3.2 and check it out. I remember that I was messing with my sound options in control panel. So I hope I find some help.
maybe you can contact the customer service section or go in your control panel and look for anything that relates to your sound or the most logical thing to do is if you hear ABSOLUTLY NO SOUND ON YOUR WHOLE PC, you could always re-install your sound driver.
if you paid for it then contact them, they should help you with your problem. In the mean time, if you just want to record audio you can use free audio apps like Krystal or Audacity
no of course not, I use Pro Tools everyday (teach it in LA), which set me back about $25,000. But I don't know what this guy's budget is so I was starting with the crappy free stuff
Well now Screwlab doesnt even want to start. When I click on the icon to open it, a message appears saying that "MSSRecorder Control Reset Failed with Code 1". What can I do? Do I have to go to "Control Panel" and change the settings or what?
1. you can reinstall your sound driver by usually finding the recource disc included with your pc(recource is a dell term, dont know what other brands call it), insert the disc and look around for that driver for your pc(usually will have something obvious to determine its for your pc. 2.try reinstalling the whole program.
